Meerut, 10 January 2025: A chilling crime has sent shockwaves through Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut district, where five members of a family were discovered brutally murdered in their home in Sohail Garden, under the Lisari Gate police station area. The victims include Moin, a mason, his wife Asma, and their three daughters.
Bodies Found in Disturbing Circumstances
Moin and Asma were found lying on the floor, while the bodies of their daughters were concealed inside a bed box. Police believe the perpetrators deliberately hid the children’s bodies, adding to the heinous nature of the crime. “The crime scene was disturbing and indicates a deliberate attempt to cover up,” said a senior police officer.
Investigation Underway
Upon receiving the alert, forensic teams and local police rushed to the scene, cordoning off the area to preserve evidence. Officers are meticulously examining the house for clues while trying to establish the motive behind the killings. “Our team is working to identify suspects and motives; every detail is critical to solving this case,” added the officer.
Community in Shock: The gruesome murders have left residents of the otherwise peaceful neighborhood shaken. “We can’t believe something like this could happen here,” said a neighbor, visibly distressed by the incident.
