Haryana Minister Promises Jobs for 2 Lakh Youth

Chandigarh, November 11, 2024: Haryana’s Panchayat, Development, and Mining Minister, Krishna Lal Panwar, announced that the state government plans to provide employment to 2 lakh youths soon.

Speaking during a visit to Israna Assembly Constituency in Panipat, Panwar outlined various developmental initiatives aimed at empowering the youth and enhancing village infrastructure.

Panwar emphasized the government’s focus on education and self-reliance, revealing plans to establish library facilities in 1,000 villages across Haryana.

Additionally, preparations are underway to open around 2,500 gyms in rural areas to promote health and fitness among the youth.

Highlighting efforts for women’s empowerment, Panwar announced the upcoming launch of cultural centers in 6,500 villages, along with the establishment of 1,000 Sanskrit centers by next year. He also detailed infrastructure upgrades, including paving streets and installing streetlights in all villages.

Addressing environmental concerns, the minister urged farmers to avoid stubble burning and highlighted the government’s commitment to agricultural welfare through initiatives like the Kisan Samman Nidhi, providing ₹6,000 annually to 12 crore farmers.

Panwar assured the public that development plans are being designed to benefit every segment of society and pledged the renovation of over 19,000 ponds, complete with improved seating and landscaping.
