Chandigarh: The Haryana Government ordered a major administrative reshuffle with immediate effect, issuing transfer and posting orders for 16 IAS and 10 HCS officers. The wide-ranging changes see senior bureaucracy reassigned across major state departments including Fisheries, Food and Civil Supplies, Urban Local Bodies, and Pollution Control.
Under the revised postings, IAS Rajeev Ranjan, Principal Secretary of the Labour Department, assumed the additional charge of Principal Secretary, Fisheries Department. IAS Amneet P Kumar has been posted as Principal Secretary for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Department of Future, and Sports Department. Meanwhile, IAS Shekhar Vidyarthi, serving as Commissioner & Secretary for Women & Child Development and Director General of Fire Services, takes on the additional role of Chairman of the Haryana State Pollution Control Board.
In key urban planning and development shifts, IAS J Ganesan takes over as Director General and Secretary of Town & Country Planning alongside his charge as Director General of Urban Estates. IAS Ashok Kumar Meena has been appointed Commissioner & Secretary for the Urban Local Bodies Department and Foreign Cooperation Department, while IAS Sharandeep Kaur Brar assumes duties as Director General and Secretary of Urban Local Bodies.
The administrative overhaul also sees IAS Vinay Pratap Singh appointed as Managing Director of HSIIDC and Haryana Financial Corporation, while IAS Mukul Kumar takes charge as Chief Administrator of Haryana Shaheri Vikas Pradhikaran and Managing Director of Gurugram Metro Rail Ltd. Officials affirmed that all transferred officers will assume their new responsibilities with immediate effect to streamline departmental administration.
