Mohali, November 3, 2024: A businessman was assaulted and robbed of his Thar vehicle in an incident that occurred around 3 a.m. in Mohali.
The victim, identified as Deepak Agarwal, was en route to Landra when a group of 5 to 6 unidentified persons in a Maruti car blocked his path at the Sohana Hospital traffic light.
The assailants physically attacked Agarwal, stealing his gold chain and bracelet before fleeing in his Thar vehicle.
Friends traveling in a second vehicle behind Agarwal rushed him to Mohali Civil Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Agarwal, a resident of Gobindgarh, has begun providing his statement to the Sohana police, who are investigating the incident.
