Chandigarh, June 25: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab Chief Spokesperson and MLA Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal declared that the administration has successfully implemented all its major election promises within four and a half years while leading the state toward a comprehensive developmental transformation. Addressing a press conference in Amritsar alongside senior party leaders, the MLA maintained that significant strides have been made to upgrade healthcare, education, connectivity, employment, and agricultural infrastructure across the region.

The legislator stated that the final pending guarantee concerning direct financial assistance for women is scheduled to begin on July 1. Under this welfare initiative, eligible women from the general category will receive ₹1,000 per month, while those from Scheduled Caste categories will receive ₹1,500 per month, with preparations already finalized for the initial disbursements.

“The guarantee of free electricity has been continuously fulfilled for the past four and a half years,” Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal affirmed. “In the field of healthcare, not only was the guarantee of Mohalla Clinics fulfilled, but the people of Punjab were also provided a free health insurance card worth ₹10 lakh, despite no such promise having been made.”

Turning his attention to institutional opposition, the MLA asserted that traditional political factions are visibly unsettled by the impending rollout of the direct benefit transfer for women. He stated that the collective unease among rival parties stems from the knowledge that these structured welfare payouts will permanently distance the public from opposition rhetoric.

“Akali Dal, Congress and BJP are disturbed because they know that once money starts reaching the accounts of women from July 1 onwards, no one in Punjab will pay any attention to the opposition,” Dhaliwal declared.

Responding directly to recent demands from the Congress leadership regarding executive resignations, the AAP spokesperson rejected their stance by bringing up historical events from June 1984. He maintained that those associated with the political legacy that directed military actions against Sri Akal Takht Sahib possess no ethical grounds to lecture the public on Sikh traditions, adding a direct challenge to the high command to remove individuals linked to past anti-Sikh violence from their ranks.
