Chandigarh, October 21, 2024 — The Bhagwant Mann-led government in Punjab has made a noteworthy mark in the state’s history by providing government jobs to 45,560 young persons during its tenure, fostering hope and changing lives across numerous families.
Chief Minister Mann mentioned the transparent nature of these job allocations, stating that youth have secured positions without having to pay bribes.
“In the last two and a half years, an average of 51 youth have been appointed to government jobs every day, setting a remarkable record,” he said.
Addressing residents, Mann expressed his joy, likening the achievement to realizing a long-held dream. He aims to inspire hope among the youth, asserting, “We have brought spring in the autumn of government jobs, turning the buds of many families into flourishing flowers.”
The Chief Minister is committed to ensuring that these opportunities are awarded based on merit, which has boosted young people’s confidence in the state government’s policies. As a result, many are now preparing for government jobs instead of seeking opportunities abroad.
