Official clarification came through the ministry’s fact-checking unit on social media following public notices from South Africa regarding President Cyril Ramaphosa. Officials in Pretoria confirmed that the 73-year-old leader was advised by doctors to take medical rest upon returning home from the September 12-13 summit, delegating public duties to cabinet ministers while Deputy President Paul Mashatile also recovers from a minor procedure. Meanwhile, central authorities cautioned the public against unverified online claims surrounding Chinese President Xi Jinping. Officials affirmed that the host nation successfully organized deliberations resulting in the adoption of the New Delhi Declaration.
