New Delhi, June 16: The National Testing Agency has introduced a dedicated online reporting portal to curb misinformation and protect candidates ahead of the upcoming medical entrance re-test. The platform allows students and members of the public to flag suspicious social media posts, deceptive claims, or fraudulent websites directly to the administration.
This initiative has been designed to secure a smooth and fair process for the lakhs of students returning for the examination on June 21. It operates alongside broader regulatory efforts, which include the implementation of enhanced monitoring frameworks across online spaces and a temporary restriction on the Telegram messaging application within the country to prevent the circulation of unverified claims.
National Testing Agency officials maintained that public participation remains essential to maintaining a smooth testing environment. In an official advisory issued to the public, the administration asserted, “Don’t let rumours decide your NEET journey. No one, repeat, no one has access to the question paper before the exam.”
To assist with these efforts, students have been advised to maintain constant vigilance against individuals or groups online claiming early access to examination papers. Administrators declared that deceptive messages and false promises typically increase just before major national exams, creating unnecessary panic and anxiety among families.
The administration affirmed that stringent measures will follow for any entities found to be fabricating rumours or trying to disrupt the examination environment. Students are requested to report any such instances immediately and rely solely on updates provided through the official, authorized communication channels.
