Another spell of snowfall is expected in higher areas on December 27, with the possibility of further rain and snowfall on December 28, driven by a western disturbance.

The cold wave is predicted to continue for the next six days, with dense fog expected in the plains on December 24-25. In many areas, including Mandi, Kinnaur, Lahaul-Spiti, and Chamba, temperatures have dropped below zero, with Tabo recording minus 10.2 degrees on Monday. Fog is also impacting normal life in Una, Hamirpur, and Bilaspur, causing bitterly cold conditions across the state.
