“The Punjab Government has intensified its decisive campaign against drug abuse, resulting in the arrest of more than 67,000 drug smugglers till date,” Speaker Sandhwan stated. “Eradicating addiction requires active participation between the government and the community.”
Addressing the root causes of substance abuse, the Speaker declared that close parental supervision and emotional support during formative years serve as critical deterrents against addiction.
