Two Lawrence Bishnoi Gang Members Nabbed After Encounter

Jalandhar, 27 Nov. 24: Jalandhar Police, under Commissioner Swapan Sharma, apprehended two associates of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang following an encounter. According to the Punjab Police, the suspects opened fire during a chase, prompting retaliatory action by officers, which led to their arrest.

The arrested individuals are linked to multiple criminal cases, including extortion, murder, and violations under the Arms Act and NDPS Act. Authorities also recovered three weapons and several cartridges from the suspects.

This operation underscores the Punjab Police’s ongoing efforts to curb organized crime in the state.
