New Delhi, 27 November 2024 – The Winter Session of Parliament, which began Monday, witnessed disruptions as opposition members raised issues concerning Manipur, Gautam Adani, and unemployment in the Lok Sabha. Proceedings, which started at 11 a.m. today, were adjourned to 12 noon following loud slogans during Question Hour.

Earlier, due to special events for Constitution Day on November 26, no proceedings were held in either house.

Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut reignited the debate on Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs), alleging electoral fraud. “If elections are held on ballot papers, BJP will not secure even 25 seats nationwide,” he claimed, questioning the credibility of recent Maharashtra and Haryana election outcomes.

Parliament is expected to reconvene at 11 a.m. tomorrow, November 28.
