NEW DELHI, March 11 – In another legal setback for Arvind Kejriwal, a Delhi court has ordered the registration of an FIR against him and other AAP leaders over alleged misuse of public funds for hoardings.
The Rouse Avenue Court, hearing a petition on Tuesday, directed the Delhi Police to file the FIR and submit a compliance report by March 18. The case dates back to 2019.
Kejriwal, currently out on bail in the alleged Delhi liquor policy scam, suffered a political blow last month after losing the Delhi Assembly elections, including his own New Delhi constituency.
