Chandigarh, August 25: KableOne, one of India’s leading OTT platforms, on Monday released the teaser of its upcoming original film Raunak, a moving tale of innocence, illusion, and sacrifice with the film streaming worldwide from September 26, 2025, in 11 languages.
Written and directed by Jas Grewal and produced by Sumeet Singh and Luv Israni, Raunak explores the journey of a young orphan girl growing up as domestic help in a privileged household.
She develops a deep bond with Resham, the landlord’s daughter, believing herself to be loved as family, until painful truths force her into heartbreak and sacrifice.
“The film beautifully captures the purity of friendship, the ache of betrayal, and the resilience of the human spirit,” the makers said. The musical score is composed by Jaidev Kumar.
The cast includes Arvinder Kaur, Rajwinder Kaur, Jassi Jaspreet, Malkeet Rauni, Seema Kaushal, and Rupinder Rupi, among others. One of the striking features of the teaser is the performance of the child artists, whose natural dialogue delivery and expressive presence bring depth and authenticity to the narrative.
“Their innocence and raw emotion add a genuine soul to the story,” a spokesperson from KableOne said.
To ensure global accessibility, Raunak will stream in Punjabi, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, English, Chinese, Russian, Arabic, French, and Spanish.
