Tarn Taran, March 8: A sense of grief has settled over the DSP wali gali area of Tarn Taran following the mysterious deaths of two young siblings on Sunday morning. The deceased, identified as nine-year-old Danika and her six-year-old brother Aarav, were discovered unresponsive in their home after reportedly consuming street food the previous evening.
Family members stated that the children had purchased fast food from a local roadside vendor on Saturday night. Shortly after eating, both siblings began vomiting and experiencing physical discomfort. The parents maintained that they initially administered basic medicine at home, believing the children were suffering from a common stomach ailment.
“When the family tried to wake them up on Sunday morning, both children were found unresponsive,” a local official affirmed regarding the discovery. The grieving parents have since approached the City Police Station, demanding a thorough inquiry into the vendor’s food quality, which they suspect led to fatal food poisoning.
The vendor involved has denied any wrongdoing, asserting that many other customers consumed the same food that evening without any reported illness. Police officials noted that the bodies have been transported for a postmortem examination to determine the exact cause of death. They declared that further legal action will depend on the findings of the medical report, which is expected to be released on Monday.
