Ghaziabad/Rampur, July 4:  Uttar Pradesh is advancing its transition toward a digital agricultural infrastructure under a state-wide initiative designed to streamline access to welfare benefits. Official data indicates that the ongoing Farmer Registry campaign has successfully registered more than 2.38 crore farmers across the state, securing approximately 82.69 percent of the total coverage target designated by central authorities.

Administrators affirmed that the documentation drive has achieved absolute completion in both the Ghaziabad and Rampur districts. Out of a comprehensive baseline projection of 2,88,70,495 individuals for the state, exactly 2,38,72,418 farmers have been formally enrolled in the integrated digital repository. Local departments, including the Revenue and Agriculture wings alongside district officials, have been advised to address the remaining accounts systematically within a projected timeline extending to late September.

The establishment of this comprehensive agricultural database aims to simplify the delivery of essential public services, ensuring transparent resource allocation for structural benefits such as institutional credit, crop insurance, and state subsidies. Officials maintained that the consolidation of verified digital profiles helps optimize financial planning and allows authorized support to be administered with enhanced clarity.

In tandem with registration operations, the state is observing steady progress in land boundary and sharing records through the ongoing “Ansh Nirdharan” process. Departmental summaries declared that 87.53 percent of this structural verification has been completed. This automated alignment of ownership details is expected to improve institutional data accuracy while minimizing local administrative and agricultural disputes in the future.
