New Delhi, July 29: Bollywood actor and Bharatiya Janata Party Parliament Member from Mandi, Kangana Ranaut, triggered significant public reaction after labeling youth agitators as “Generation gutter” following recent demonstrations linked to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The comments led digital audiences to circulate archived media clips of the parliamentarian from past social events, pointing out double standards regarding public conduct.

“Here is a new generation of so called westernised Indian women. I call them Generation gutter,” Kangana Ranaut declared through social media, asserting that certain demonstrators were unsuitable for traditional household roles.

The parliamentarian maintained that short videos from the demonstrations were “puke inducing” and expressed surprise at the nature of the gatherings. She also directed remarks at CJP spokesperson Saurav Das, calling him “totally useless and unemployed.”

“I don’t have much to say about Kangana Ranaut, her own party members don’t take her seriously,” CJP spokesperson Saurav Das stated in response to the commentary.

Online platforms recorded extensive pushback against the parliamentarian’s statements, with several commentators suggesting she review past personal recordings prior to making general observations about younger demographics.
