Dhuri: Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann commenced the Aam Aadmi Party’s door-to-door election campaign from Dhuri, presenting a four-and-a-half-year performance report directly to residents. Placing the concept of ‘Mann Da Munafa’ at the center of the outreach, the Chief Minister maintained that state policies have generated substantial relief for ordinary households across Punjab.

Addressing residents during the campaign, Bhagwant Singh Mann affirmed that systemic welfare programs, including zero-charge electricity, healthcare expansions, educational upgrades, and the Mawan Dheeyan Satkar Yojna, translate to roughly ₹1.82 lakh in annual benefit for an average family. He asserted that these savings relieve financial strain, allowing households to allocate funds toward personal and domestic priorities.

Rural infrastructure development remains a pivotal pillar of the administration’s report card. The Chief Minister declared that village panchayats across all regions are receiving significant developmental grants for roads, water supply, sports grounds, and street lighting, irrespective of political leanings.

Bhagwant Singh Mann maintained that the party’s campaign will stay strictly focused on governance outcomes rather than negative rhetoric. Commenting on other political factions, he maintained that opposition groups remain distracted by internal conflicts or lack a ground presence, while also urging accountability regarding interstate drug movement.
