Panchkula: Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, alongside BJP Haryana State President Dr. Archana Gupta, launched the ‘Namo Seva Portal’ in Panchkula on Monday to connect citizens, community groups, and volunteers with social service initiatives. Developed as a central digital bridge for the upcoming Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, the portal enables individuals and social organizations to register using their mobile numbers and participate in community service programs tailored to their availability. State authorities affirmed that the platform is designed to broaden public involvement across 12 campaign programs and 25 distinct voluntary activities, ranging from environmental drives to community welfare projects.
Designed by the BJP IT Department, the platform incorporates a QR-code attendance mechanism for volunteers at event venues, real-time profile tracking, and automated issuance of participation certificates upon project completion. Chief Minister Saini maintained that the initiative offers a structured framework to channel public enthusiasm into meaningful civic contributions, supported by a built-in referral system to expand community reach. Officials confirmed that in addition to the web portal, mobile applications will soon be released on major digital app stores to ensure seamless communication, project updates, and ongoing civic engagement across the state.
