Chandigarh, June 19: Independent forensic examinations from laboratories outside the state have completely disproved a controversial video, confirming it does not feature Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. The comprehensive analysis examined 1,191 distinct frames, establishing that the individual in the clip possesses a different height and body structure than the Chief Minister.
Following these definitive findings, the Chief Minister directed the Director General of Police to locate every individual involved in creating, funding, and circulating the video, regardless of their global location, to ensure they face public exposure. The clip is being described as a deliberate political conspiracy aimed at disrupting the state’s progress and damaging the government’s strong relationship with the public.
In a detailed address, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann declared that the video was a calculated attempt by political rivals to mislead the public.
“The reports clearly establish that someone used another individual to create this fake video with the specific intention of declaring it to be a video of Bhagwant Mann and then defaming me,” the Chief Minister asserted.
He further observed that the individual captured in the recording stands approximately two inches taller than him, rendering the allegations physically impossible.
The Chief Minister maintained that his administration has consistently prioritized religious respect and community welfare, pointing to the passage of the stringent Jaagat Jot Sri Guru Granth Sahib Satkar (Amendment) Act against sacrilege. He also cited major governance achievements, such as providing free electricity to the vast majority of households, generating over 67,000 corruption-free jobs, and expanding canal water irrigation coverage from 22 percent to over 80 percent across Punjab.
He stated that political opponents are merely utilizing religious sentiments to shield their dwindling political influence. He urged the public to remain vigilant against such deceptive strategies, reaffirming his enduring dedication to serving the state and its people.
