Lucknow, June 17: The state administration finalized a new agricultural action plan on Wednesday designed to establish a direct supply network for poison-free and organic food products across regional districts. The strategic campaign relies on transforming local cow shelters into central distribution hubs to supply chemical-free produce directly to residential households.
The initial rollout concentrates resources on establishing a steady local supply chain before expanding operations into a wider statewide network. Agricultural officials stated that the project will create a structured marketplace where regional farmers can easily sell their certified organic goods without navigating middleman networks.
“Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s goal is to protect citizens from diseases and provide them with ‘poison-free food,’” affirmed Shyam Bihari Gupta, Chairman of the UP Go-seva Aayog, while detailing the blueprint in Lucknow. “The initiative will begin with families living around selected gaushalas. This model will transform gaushalas into new centers of rural prosperity and public health.”
The operational framework relies heavily on a specialized regional approach during its introductory phase to ensure distribution stability. Nearby households will receive access to fresh fruits, vegetables, grains, and diverse dairy variants produced entirely through verified natural farming techniques.
“Local youth will be connected on a large scale with processing, packaging, and marketing activities required to run the entire ‘poison-free food’ cycle,” declared the Go-seva Aayog Chairman. “This initiative is set to become a unique example of ‘health and prosperity’ for the country.”
Project planners maintained that the immediate logistics strategy focuses on a strict five-kilometer operational radius surrounding the selected municipal and rural shelters. The processing centers plan to integrate local cooperative societies to manage daily packing, quality control, and home delivery schedules efficiently.
