New Delhi, November 19, 2024: Congress leaders gathered at Shakti Sthal in Delhi today to honor former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on her 107th birth anniversary. Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and party president Mallikarjun Kharge led the tributes, joined by senior party leaders who offered floral respects at her memorial.
Rahul Gandhi commemorated the occasion by sharing childhood photographs with his grandmother on social media platform X, calling her an “example of courage and love.” In his post, he wrote, “I have learned from her that real strength is fearlessly walking the path of national interest. Her memories are my strength, always guiding me.”
Indira Gandhi, India’s third and only woman Prime Minister, remains a prominent figure in Indian political history. Party members highlighted her contributions to the nation, reflecting on her leadership and legacy during the tribute ceremony.
