Mumbai, June 15: Prominent television and film actress Sanchita Ugle passed away at the age of 30, with her body discovered at her residence in Nalasopara, Mumbai. Authorities stated that the tragic incident took place on Sunday evening inside her family home located in Achhole village, Nalasopara East.
The local police department noted that the actress was alone at home during the evening hours when she allegedly took her own life. According to law enforcement reports, she was found hanging from a ceiling fan. Her family members, including her parents and 15-year-old sister with whom she resided, immediately transported her to the Municipal Corporation Hospital upon discovery. Medical professionals at the facility declared her dead upon arrival, after which the relatives notified the local authorities.
Investigating officers asserted that no suicide note was recovered from the spot. The police administration has registered an accidental death report to establish the legal framework for the inquiry. Officials declared that the body was subsequently moved to a medical facility for a postmortem examination to confirm the exact medical cause behind the expiration.
The late actress had built a substantial career in the entertainment industry, making appearances across multiple high-profile television serials and cinematic projects. She was recognized for her performance as Sukoon in the show “Dilwale Dulha Le Jayengi” and had portrayed the character of Tarabai in the feature film “Chhawa.” Her professional portfolio also included roles in widely-watched television dramas such as “Kumkum Bhagya” and “Wagle Ki Duniya.”
