Mohali, March 15 — The State Special Operation Cell (SSOC), Mohali, arrested three operatives of a terror module linked to Pakistan-based Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) terrorist Harvinder Singh alias Rinda on Saturday.
The accused—Jagjit Singh alias Jaggi and Shubham Khelbude, both from Nanded, Maharashtra, and Gurdeep Singh alias Deepa from Nurpur Bedi, Rupnagar—were allegedly involved in facilitating logistics and safehouses for shooters in the February 10 Nanded murder case, police said.
Officials recovered a pistol with eight live cartridges and a pump-action gun with 15 live rounds. Investigators have also traced links to jailed gangster Dilpreet Baba, an associate of Rinda, who allegedly arranged shelters for the accused in Punjab.
A case has been registered at SSOC, Mohali, and further investigations are ongoing.
