Rohtak: Outgoing MLA and Haryana Jansewak Party (HJP) candidate from Meham, Balraj Singh Kundu, has accused Congress candidate Balram Dangi’s father, former Haryana minister Anand Singh Dangi, of physically assaulting him and his personal assistant (PA) at a polling booth in Madina village, Meham constituency, Rohtak district, on Saturday.
However, Anand Singh Dangi denied the accusations, calling them baseless and stating that he had left the area before the alleged incident occurred.
Kundu claimed that he was visiting the polling booth to observe the voting process when Dangi, along with 20-25 supporters, attacked him, tearing his clothes.
He further alleged that his PA was injured during the assault.
Kundu has filed a police complaint regarding the incident.
