Bijnor, JUNE 2: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath distributed land ownership certificates, financial assets, and housing keys to thousands of regional beneficiaries on Monday during an official visit to Bijnor district. The administrative rollout focused heavily on providing secure property holdings to long-displaced populations and military families, granting formal land registration rights to those previously living without legal deeds.

Among the primary recipients of the land ownership program were five families displaced from Pakistan, including Mohan Singh, Mukhtiyar Singh, Amrik Singh, Milkha Singh, and Lakhwinder Kaur. Additionally, the Chief Minister transferred title ownership certificates to five ex-servicemen households, ensuring secure property rights for veterans Anupam Kumar, Jagmohan Singh, Jaykrit Singh, Suresh Kumar, and Jaideep. Alongside these land titles, the administration introduced a new commercial footprint by launching the Vidur Prerna Cafe, a localized hospitality project managed by the Common Service Centre in partnership with regional women’s self-help groups.

“The state remains fully committed to bringing marginalized and displaced communities into the societal mainstream,” the Chief Minister’s Office declared in a brief following the Bijnor assembly.

Financial grants were also extended directly to rural entrepreneurs and agricultural specialists to drive local economic growth. The state provided a massive financial boost to institutional networks, presenting a cheque worth ₹184 crore to Nirmala Devi under the Self-Help Group Bank Linkage initiative. In individual sectors, horticulture practitioner Siddhant Tyagi received a ₹24 lakh subsidy cheque, while local youth development programs saw Pushpa Prajapati and Harish Kumar secure ₹5 lakh each under the Chief Minister Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan.

The residential and student sectors were similarly recognized during the ceremony. Rural housing keys under state and central programs were handed over to local citizens Jyoti and Shahana, while academic prodigy Srishti Chauhan received a medal, a tablet, and a cash award of ₹21 thousand for securing the highest matriculation marks in the district.
