New Delhi, June 11: A gym associated with well-known Punjabi singer Guru Randhawa became the target of a firing incident in Delhi’s Paschim Vihar area early Thursday morning. Assailants opened fire outside the fitness centre before escaping, prompting a swift response from local authorities who have launched a comprehensive investigation into the matter.

The incident occurred around 4:00 AM when two unidentified men on a motorcycle arrived outside the 24 Hs Fitness gym. Investigators asserted that at least seven shots were fired at the premises. The situation came to light an hour and a half later when arriving gym staff discovered the damage and alerted law enforcement. Authorities confirmed that no injuries occurred during the early morning attack.

A social media post surfaced shortly after the incident, with a faction of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang claiming responsibility for the gunfire. The online message declared that the action was taken due to Guru Randhawa’s increasing proximity to Bollywood actor Salman Khan.

Security officials maintained that they are currently verifying the authenticity of the social media claim. Investigators affirmed that they are looking into multiple angles, including organized crime, extortion, and personal rivalry.

Guru Randhawa holds a dual role with the fitness centre as both its owner and primary promoter. The Bishnoi network has previously made headlines for issuing threats against Salman Khan and associates within his professional circle.

Local police teams have intensified their efforts to trace the perpetrators. Forensic experts thoroughly examined the spot to collect physical evidence, while separate teams began analyzing CCTV footage from surrounding streets to map out the suspects’ escape route. A formal case stands registered as special units continue their pursuit of the individuals involved.
