NEW DELHI, July 24 — Central investigative authorities conducted coordinated searches across eight locations in New Delhi, Punjab, and Uttar Pradesh on Friday in connection with a financial probe involving bank loan operations. The enforcement action stems from an earlier inquiry registered by central agencies regarding credit facilities extended by a consortium of banks.
“The probe relates to alleged financial irregularities involving a credit facility availed from a banking consortium,” investigative officials stated while confirming the administrative procedures.
Officers maintained that documents and records gathered during the searches are being verified in accordance with statutory guidelines under financial compliance laws. Law enforcement agencies declared that further official steps will follow the completion of document analysis.
