Chandigarh, December 24: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini led a review of the 700-bed Civil Hospital project in Gurugram, aiming to bolster healthcare services in the region.
The proposed hospital, to be built in Civil Lines on 7.73 acres at an estimated cost of ₹990 crore, will include a 13-story structure housing 60 ICUs, 12 operation theatres, and an emergency helipad. Officials from various departments, including Union Minister of State Rao Inderjit Singh and Health Minister Kumari Aarti Singh Rao, were present at the meeting.
Health Department ACS Sudhir Rajpal provided updates on the construction progress, suggesting the relocation of an adjacent government school to a nearby 2.5-acre site to optimize the hospital’s layout for future needs.
CM Saini directed officials to adhere to the project’s timeline and ensure all essential facilities are integrated efficiently.
