Patiala, Sept 16: Enforcement Directorate officials extended search operations at DM Web Solutions in Urban Estate, Patiala, as part of a ongoing crackdown against unauthorized digital response centers and financial cyber fraud networks. The agency initiated action across multiple premises in Mohali and Patiala after tracking substantial monetary transactions linked to the involved entities. Central security personnel secured the immediate perimeters while local police forces established an outer cordon during the evening entry.
Investigators sealed two commercial spaces in Urban Estate Phase-2 in Patiala while sifting through records on site. Senior officials affirmed that the illegal units operated for a considerable duration, with authorities currently examining potential links to well-connected individuals. The present action follows earlier enforcement measures last month in Ropar district, where federal agents searched the residence of an enterprise owner in connection with a multi-crore cyber fraud operation that targeted overseas citizens.
