Chandigarh, August 29 – Chandigarh will host India’s largest-ever sound healing immersion on Saturday evening, when 30 sound healers from across the world gather under one roof for the first time in northern India.

The event, titled “Noise to Nirvana”, is being organised by Leaders and Listeners in collaboration with the Institute of Sound Healing, which is described as the country’s top sound healing training institute. The session will be held at the Tagore Theatre, Sector 18, from 5 pm to 8 pm.

Internationally renowned trainer Vaishali Maa, who has trained more than 1,100 healers in India and abroad, will lead the programme. “This is not just a concert—it is a healing movement,” she said, adding that all profits from the initiative would be directed towards social causes. “We want people to experience how sound and music can naturally heal stress, depression, auto-immune disorders, and many psychosomatic diseases.”

The lineup features performers from India and overseas:

  • Vishnu Ji (Poland), with the Didgeridoo, an ancient Australian Aboriginal wind instrument
  • Anand Ji and Sujati Osho, presenting deep-healing ragas on the sitar
  • Dr. Sandeep Jyot, bringing the Buddhist Gong to address past traumas
  • Vikram Bodhi, performing on the handpan
  • Romi Sir, with flute-based melodies

Organisers said the evening is designed as a collective sound vibration journey to address stress, anxiety, and psychosomatic illnesses, which have become increasingly common in today’s fast-paced world.

Similar programmes in Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Mumbai and Chennai drew overwhelming participation, with attendees describing the sessions as “soul-awakening” and “life-changing.”

With limited seats available, the organisers said bookings can be made through BookMyShow.
