Ayodhya, July 13: The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust announced on Monday that it has opened applications for the position of the first chief executive officer of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Interested candidates must submit their credentials before 4 pm on July 18 to be considered for the administrative role.
The creation of the top post follows recent allegations regarding the embezzlement of temple funds and valuables. The new leadership structure is intended to ensure total transparency and protect the institutional integrity of the temple’s daily operations.
A specialized three-member selection panel has already been formed to review the upcoming submissions and suggest the most qualified administrators. “The primary responsibility of the CEO will be to uphold the faith of devotees in the trust,” Ram Temple Construction Committee Chairman Nripendra Mishra declared to reporters.
The independent evaluation panel includes retired Supreme Court Judge Justice Pramod Kohli, retired Lieutenant General Vishnukant Chaturvedi, and former NIT Raipur Chairperson Suresh Haware. Highlighting the separation of governance roles, Mishra maintained that committee members tied to construction are ex officio participants without voting privileges, affirming that the trust alone holds the ultimate authority to define the specific powers and duties of the incoming chief executive.
