Breaking News: Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang has claimed responsibility of the murder of Baba Siddique, a leader of Ajit Pawar’s Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), in Mumbai.
Baba Siddique was attacked outside his MLA son Zeeshan Siddiqui’s office near Colgate Ground in Nirmal Nagar. According to the police, the attackers fired two to three rounds at him.
The former state minister was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. His funeral will be held with full state honours at Bada Kabrastan in Mumbai today at 8:30 PM.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde stated that two individuals have been arrested by the police in connection with the shooting. “This is an extremely unfortunate incident. I spoke to the doctors and police. Two people have been arrested; the accused are from Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. The third accused is absconding,” Shinde said.
