GORAKHPUR, JUNE 3 — District magistrates across the state received orders to take immediate disciplinary action, including formal suspensions, against revenue officials found negligent in resolving property disputes.
The enforcement mandate follows an administrative review during a public grievance assembly where citizens reported systemic delays and procedural lapses in land record management. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath issued the strict guidelines during the second consecutive day of public hearings held at the Gorakhnath Temple complex, instructing administrative heads that departmental laxity regarding property complaints will not be tolerated.
State records show that approximately 150 applicants presented documentation during the morning session outside the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhavan. The submitted petitions spanned urgent requests for property restitution, financial aid for medical treatments, and local police interventions.
“Ayushman Cards would be issued to eligible beneficiaries, and if further assistance was required, support would also be provided through the discretionary fund,” Adityanath stated when addressing healthcare access, noting that public welfare remains a primary state obligation.
The session handled several high-priority property disputes, including an appeal from a resident reporting unlawful eviction from her home by private individuals. Administrative and police personnel received immediate instructions to restore the woman’s property rights and process all pending applications within a fixed timeframe to ensure impartial resolution.
To expand public healthcare access, the state command directed field officers to expedite the distribution of subsidized medical cards to all qualifying low-income families.
“The government stands firmly with every needy person,” Adityanath affirmed, directing staff to cross-reference application lists to ensure zero exclusion of eligible households from state medical funding.
The administrative visit concluded with traditional inspections within the temple grounds, including reviews of local community programs and brief interactions with visiting families. Senior district officials remained on-site to log the applications and initiate the mandated tracking protocols for the received land and healthcare petitions.
