Punjab Secures Rs 86,000-Crore Investment: CM

Chandigarh, December 25, 2024: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann announced that the state has attracted investments worth Rs 86,000 crore, creating employment opportunities for approximately 3.92 lakh youth. This milestone reflects his government’s efforts to foster industrial growth and economic development.

Mann emphasized that industrialization has seen unprecedented growth during the government’s 30-month tenure, drawing prominent companies like Tata Steel and Sanatan Textiles to invest in Punjab.

The Chief Minister credited Punjab’s peaceful and harmonious environment for the state’s accelerating progress, adding that infrastructure, skilled manpower, and a conducive business ecosystem make Punjab a preferred industrial destination.

To ensure the participation of local talent, Mann stated that priority is being given to providing jobs for Punjab’s youth in new projects, a key condition for investors entering the state.
