SAMPLA, June 8 — A 35-year-old Delhi Police head constable was discovered dead early Monday morning inside a stationary vehicle along the Rohtak-Delhi National Highway near Sampla. Local administrative officials identified the deceased man as Sudhir, a resident of Asoda village situated in the neighboring Jhajjar district.

The individual maintained an active posting at the Adarsh Nagar police station within the national capital region prior to the incident.

“The police received information around 7 a.m. about a body lying inside a parked car near the highway,” stated Vinod Kumar, the lead investigating officer assigned to the regional jurisdiction.

Emergency medical workers and a highway patrolling unit reached the location immediately following the initial citizen report. Personnel confirmed that the driver was unresponsive inside the locked cabin, with no visible external injuries recorded during the preliminary perimeter check.

“Preliminary investigation suggests that the death may have occurred due to suffocation,” Kumar noted, adding that environmental factors within the sealed vehicle are a primary focus for the current inquiry.

A specialized team of forensic science experts reached the highway location to examine the vehicle interior and gather physical trace evidence before the site was cleared. Local sub-divisional officers have already communicated the details of the recovery to the immediate family members residing in Jhajjar.

The regional command transferred the body to a state hospital facility for a complete post-mortem examination, which administrators stated remains essential to establish the exact physiological cause of the fatality.
