Chandigarh, August 13: The Punjab and Haryana High Court issued interim stay orders regarding the recruitment process for 454 pharmacy officer positions along with block programme manager roles across state departments. The administrative proceedings under review relate to examinations conducted in July through Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot.
The judicial direction came following legal petitions examining examination management protocols. State law enforcement authorities had acted promptly following the July examination, arresting suspect individuals and securing high-tech equipment used across test centers in Faridkot, Kotkapura, and Ferozepur.
“The government remains fully committed to maintaining absolute integrity and total fairness in every public recruitment drive,” official representatives affirmed while addressing ongoing procedural reviews.
State agencies continue to provide all relevant documentation to the court to ensure transparent resolution. The matter remains listed for comprehensive consideration during the next hearing scheduled for September 17.
